Our client is a leading printing business based in the South West - Well established, they have a very impressive portfolio of blue chip and high profile clients.

They are now seeking to recruit a new role of Sales Director / Designate with a key focus on sales, developing both new and existing accounts within the UK. Reporting the Managing Director and working as a key member of the management team, your brief is wide ranging but essentially client facing.

In the first instance you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements in order to create a sales structure that delivers growth. You will be negotiating with a range of clients, from PLC directors to local management throughout the UK – it is a hands-on sales role. Progression to the board is on offer for the right person.

From lead generation to closing the deal, from business development to key account management, all client facing activity will be within your remit.

The successful candidate will be a proven relationship builder over the long term with a track-record of sales success. Adept at consultative selling, you will forge and develop key client relationships within the UK. You will also have a ‘technical’ mindset and ideally a wealth of experience in the print industry as well as a developed contact network within major clients.   

You will be an outgoing, ‘people’ person, comfortable in a SME environment but used to presenting to blue chips and major customers.
