Part of a UK PLC, our client is a high profile & well established clean technology company that focuses on developing & commercialising proprietary products that safely, effectively, & naturally kill contagious pathogens without causing harm to human health or the environment.Their technology & solutions are used in a broad range of markets that depend upon controlling contamination, including endoscopy, laboratory clean air, food safety & wound care. They are also a leading supplier & manufacturer of Laboratory & Hospital related health & safety equipment in the UK.

They are now seeking a Director of Finance to join their UK management team. They have two sites in the UK, one in the Bristol area within easy access of the M5 & the other in the Midlands where the UK MD is based, so you will be expected to travel between both sites, with the South West as your prime location.    

This is a fast paced, commercially focused role with a growing group & you will join an established senior management team, reporting directly to the US-based CFO, providing daily support to the UK MD & VP International - Operations and Business Development. You will manage a multi site finance team, & work closely with peers to deliver internal financial data & ensure fiscal accountability & responsibility in all functions.

The successful candidate will be fully Qualified with experience of operating at Finance Director level preferably within a manufacturing environment - prior exposure to the medical devices sector as well as NHS/national framework agreements would be desirable but not essential. Experience of working in a listed company environment is essential. Candidates will be strong leaders & people managers as well as being rounded business professionals & strategic thinkers who can not only anticipate needs but provide business decision support & guidance in financial matters.
