Part of a global group, our client is a major  IT Services and software company and one of the top five providers of solutions for Professional Services and Public Sector organisations in the UK.

They have an unrivalled track record of growth and success to date.  With a turnover approaching £70m, the business operates from a head office in the South West with a number of sites throughout the UK.

They are now seeking a Director of Finance and Corporate Services to join their UK Executive Board with full P&L responsibility, reporting directly to the UK Managing Director and the Global CFO. This is a wide ranging role, with responsibility for all aspects of finance and corporate services including facilities, administration and legal.

Ideally you will be a graduate and Qualified Accountant with a broad ranging track record of operating at Finance Director level. You should have had previous exposure to contract negotiation, as well as contract law, risk analysis, and a strong understanding of IFRS and revenue recognition. You will bring sound all round commercial acumen and the ability to translate the numbers into strategic business management information. You should also be used to dealing with third party advisors, auditors, banks, lawyers and any potential M&A activity. 

Candidates will be strong leaders and people managers who demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and a positive, can-do attitude, as well as being rounded business professionals and strategic thinkers who can not only anticipate needs but provide business decision support and guidance in all financial matters. Experience within a similar IT Services sector is useful but not essential - other relevant sectors include professional services and shared services environments.
