Historic Futures Limited (HF) is an expert in supply-chain traceability with world leading technologies and consulting expertise. They have developed the String online traceability service, which is currently used by many of the world's largest brands and retailers to provide supply chain visibility, allowing them to source more sustainable products and be more transparent with their customers. Private Equity backed, HF are now entering an exciting phase of development and growth, and have created a new role of Head of Sales to report directly to the CEO and work with the Management team.

You will be responsible for the sale and development of supply-chain traceability solutions to their global brand and retail customers, many of whom have already piloted with HF. The role covers all aspects of the sales process: from identifying and developing business opportunities with new and existing clients, to delivering proposals to new customers and managing commercial and contractual dealings with senior customers. A global client base means that there will be some foreign travel.

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in new business sales, preferably in software, but with exposure and contacts with retailers, multiples and / or major brands. You should bring a demonstrable track record of commercial success, bring high integrity and business ethics, and be able to work under pressure and to adapt rapidly to new situations/challenges.
