Finance Director
Location: Oxford
Salary: c £70-80k + Bonus + Benefits
Historic Futures is a fast growing Private Equity backed software business based in Oxford. They are recognised experts in supply-chain traceability and have designed and developed the String online traceability service. This service is used by many of the world's largest brands and retailers to provide supply chain visibility, allowing them to source more sustainable products and be more transparent with their customers.
The Company has an impressive programme of expansion in the UK and overseas under way and now require a new board level appointment for a commercially-minded Finance Director. You will work closely with the Chief Executive, Chairman and the senior team to achieve the next phase of growth.
Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant or equivalent with a broad ranging track record of running the finances of a growing PE backed business. This will cover all day to day aspects of the finance function; commercial input into business proposals and contract negotiations; HR Compliance Management, and all corporate finance transactions, including potential acquisitions.
We are seeking candidates who ideally have complete empathy with the sustainable advantages (as well as the financial advantages) of the software. You must have strong technical, analytical and commercial skills and be used to dealing with third party advisors, PE / VC funders, auditors, banks and lawyers. Experience within a similar sector is useful but not essential. There is huge potential in this market place, and this fast paced and entrepreneurial business has significant opportunities to progress market and products in the UK, US, Europe and Asia.
