Moon Consulting is more than just a recruitment company and as such we can offer advice and support to businesses in-between periods of resourcing. To that end, we operate a multi-disciplinary business consultancy incorporating Human resources consultancy and finance consultancy.

FINANCE CONSULTANCY

Headed by Brian Frost, ACA, this division brings financial expertise and guidance to businesses on a part-time or full-time interim basis. Brian is an experienced finance director, having worked and advised clients from start-ups to PLCs. Brian and his team have a track-record of success across most business sectors and provide the following services:

  • Part time finance director services to start-ups and SMEs
  • Assisting with special projects, such as year end audits
  • Preparing businesses for sale
  • Fund raising, MBI and MBO Advice

HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANCY

This area is headed up by Chris Eatwell MA MCIPD, a highly experienced consultant and manager. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Business Management.
Chris has been consulting successfully since 1993, and has worked with clients from a wide range of sectors, providing support for clients, their directors and management teams in dealing with the range of people issues that such organisations face each day. Recent assignments include equal pay audits; succession planning advice; bonus scheme harmonisation; mentoring and implementation of best HR practice.

In September 2007, two months away from launch of a major internet retailing website my Finance Director suddenly left.  Following a recommendation from an advisor, I met Brian over a coffee and within a week he was up and running, quickly taking control of the finances at all levels leaving me to concentrate on the launch.  When things didn't go as well as hoped and I decided to close the web site, Brian was there to help in the orderly winding down of the company.  At all times Brian was great to work with and knowledgeable and experienced in all the aspects of finance I needed - I will certainly use him again on my next venture!
