Search and Selection -
For that exceptional ‘One Off’ candidate, you may choose our retained Search and Selection service. This uses a dedicated researcher to identify and approach a pre-approved list of candidates from a tailored industry sector. All candidates are fully vetted prior to submission to the client and will receive a briefing pack before interview.
Database Search -
A confidential Database Search, of pre-registered, fully vetted candidates. We can also provide a 'Talent Management' service, where we proactively develop a databank of skills and talent that relate specifically to a client's people strategy.
Advertised campaign -
The management of an Advertising Campaign in the national media, trade publication or the internet utilising our executive recruitment websites.
Interim Management -
Our interim managers add value. These professionals are available at short notice to: Manage a department, implement a new system, carry out a strategic review, assist with a sale or disposal or act for a VC during a period of management change. In short, to assist with any business eventuality
Informal Networking among our associates and business contacts -
We regularly attend business events, networking on your behalf. We also run seminars, and work closely with corporate advisors to augment our services, all of this means we are able to present opportunities that do not come on to the open market
Non Executive Directors -
Larger companies, Listed companies and those backed by private equity funding have long used Non Executive Directors (NEDs) to provide independent advice on strategy, performance, governance and senior appointments. However, over recent years Moon Consulting has seen significant growth in the demand for NEDs from small, privately owned businesses that wish to bolster their strategic knowledge at board level.
We have therefore developed a specialist databank of NEDs, with a particular relevance for the South West market, who typically work with a portfolio of clients on a 2 day a month basis.
Succession planning and MBI / MBO advice -
We work closely with owner managed / family run businesses where sometimes there is no obvious successor. Our role may be by introducing an MBI candidate or mentoring the existing management team to move into a directorship role or one where the move is mentored by an external advisor / NED. We also work heavily in the MBO and MBI arena and have facilitated a number of introductions into companies where the individual has either bought the business or taken a large equity stake. We also have a strong and active network of VC’s Private Equity and Corporate Financiers who regularly work with us when completing a deal.
