Vanessa Moon and Chris Eatwell co-presented an in-depth careers clinic seminar to members of the Institute of Chartered accountants for England and Wales at their South West Regional offices in Bristol on Thursday 26^th February.

Hosted by Jon Blake Regional Director of the ICAEW, and utilizing Vanessa and Chris's combined expertise in recruitment, hiring and managing careers, we covered a range of topics in an interactive and informal setting. Topics covered included an overview of the state of the jobs market in the South West, advice on using employment websites and making on-line applications as well as print media, advice on presentation and interview skills, guidance on effective CV development and networking tips in the local market place.

We were also joined by Sally Jones from the Institutes' London office who covered the ICAEW's online application site.

The event was extremely well attended and a lively debate was had by all. Moon Consulting were proud to have been involved in such a timely and pertinent seminar and would be delighted to work with other organizations in a similar capacity.
