Our Client, a fast-growing independent business operating in a large and exciting FMCG sector, is now seeking a Digital Sales & Marketing Manager to join the entrepreneurial team on their journey to success.  With an existing proven 'on-trend' product range, the business is now looking to accelerate its sales through increased distribution channels and a wider product range.  Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will manage the company's own website and existing third-party retail channels as well as seeking new business opportunities.


As Digital Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be fully responsible for company web sales, online retailer sales, and digital marketing. You will ensure accurate website detail regarding price and product, devise and implement a promotional strategy for web sales and provide effective insight and analysis on all promotional activity to determine the relative ROI. You will organise photos of products and descriptions and liaise with customers regarding specific e-commerce portals, maintaining an up to date knowledge of customer purchasing specific to these channels and how they can be influenced. In addition, you will attend buyer meetings and establish and maintain key relationships including with external agencies and report on the success of the digital marketing strategies adopted.


For this role, we are seeking relevant digital and e-commerce sales experience, ideally with a minimum of three years account management with experience of trading with Amazon and of managing websites. You will hold a BA/BSc degree (or equivalent) and have demonstrable selling and negotiating skills. You will possess a good working knowledge of google analytics and Vendor Central with a strong knowledge of SEO and other media search engines. You will be commercially astute with the ability to work well on your own and with a wide range of people throughout the business.
