  The vast majority of Moon Consulting's clients are small businesses of less than 100 people. Typically an owner-manager calls us in to strenthen a management team to faciliate growth and / or exit strategies.

Therefore it is with interest that we notice The Guardian's new business section dedicated to SMEs - Small is Beautiful. The Guardian may not be the business leader's first choice of publication (The Times, FT and Telegraph lay better claims) but we welcome the focus on what is after all the mainstay of the economy, especially in the regions. The media may be preoccupied with banks and the machinations of London based PLC boards, however on the ground small business owners are discussing very different issues. Let's hope this sections helps to redress the balance.
