The Other Side of the Moon – Our Business Consulting Unit

 

Moon Consulting are well known for our Executive Recruitment skills, but we also have a highly effective Consulting arm too. We have two dedicated in-house professionals and several external partners who can provide support to our clients on an ongoing basis. 

 

Brian Frost BSc Hons ACA – Finance and Accounting Consultant 

 

Brian is an experienced finance director, having worked and advised clients from start-ups to PLCS. He provides Finance Director Support to businesses on a part-time or full-time interim basis. His strengths are either supporting an existing finance function or where a company has grown to a size where it needs extra resource.  

 

Recent successful assignments:

• Interim Finance Director for a Private Equity backed media group

• Interim FD for a Software group, including sale process, contracts and supply agreements

• Interim Group FD for a £30m t/o engineering group

• FD for an internet start-up firm, pre and post  funding 

 

Chris Eatwell MA MCIPD – Human Resources Consultant 

 

Chris provides HR support for clients, their directors and management teams in dealing with the range of people issues that such organisations face each day. He has significant experience in helping to manage small, medium and large FTSE listed businesses in a variety of different sectors. He has been Head of HR or HR Director for six businesses in London, Bristol, Bath and Cardiff. Chris is available on a part time or interim basis. 

 

Recent HR consultancy projects completed:

• Interim Head of HR for a Platform business, helping them grow from 130 to 200 staff in a year

• Complete redesign and implementation of the Reward programme for a large building society

• Management of a TUPE programme transferring 150 logistics staff, on time and on budget

• Design and implementation of job profile, job evaluation and performance review programmes

 

Malcolm Lewis – Strategic Leadership Consulting Partner

 

Malcolm is Head of Strategic Value Partners, and is one of Moon Consulting’s key consulting partners. He specializes in facilitating and training Boards and Senior Management Teams in ‘Strategic Leadership and Governance'.

 

Malcolm combines the ‘hard' business skills of finance and strategy with the ‘softer' behavioural skills of leadership and culture. He has advised or personally invested in over 30 company restructurings and has industry experience as an FD. A Chartered Accountant (KPMG) with a Masters in finance; he is also trained in many of the deeper ‘soft' skills.
