Moon Consulting recently successfully worked with UNIT4 Business Software Limited in the UK on two key board level appointments.

Vanessa Moon was brought in by the new Managing Director Anwen Robinson to assist with the appointment of 2 new main board Directors following a company reorganisation. UNIT4 Business Software is the recently rebranded Company formed following the acquisition of CODA by Agresso. Vanessa was tasked with hiring a Sales Director and Professional Services Director, two business critical appointments necessitating working closely with UNIT4 over a period of six months.

Both campaigns combined head-hunting, search and advertising methodologies, leading to an in-depth interview process and psychometrics. Vanessa said ‘It was very important to spend detailed time on these assignments to understand the key competencies required for each post as they both needed very different and exacting skill sets'. Both campaigns elicited about 200 responses to the advertisements.

After successfully short listing, two hires were appointed to the UK board - Darren Hunt as Sales and Marketing Director in December 2009 and Clare Dorey as Professional Services Director in February 2010.
