Peaches Golding OBE To Be Recognised For Her Contribution To Business.
Moon Consulting is delighted to announce that our Principal Consultant, Lord-Lieutenant Peaches Golding OBE, is to be awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of the University by the University of West of England in a ceremony being held on Friday 14th July 2017.
Peaches, who was recently appointed as The Queen's Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol, is to be recognised by the University of West of England for her contribution to business.
Peaches is an inspirational and influential business leader with a wealth of experience spanning across a diverse range of sectors including education, utilities and health. A significant proportion of Peaches' career has been focused on strategic marketing for a variety community-led business projects.
As well as her involvement to provide strategic leadership and direction for various charities' and trusts, such as SS Great Britain and the Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Trust Partnership, Peaches also currently holds a number of advisory roles within high-profile companies, such as the ITV West Country Viewer Advisory Panel and Bristol Water Consumer Challenge Group, to name but a few.
In response to her award, Peaches said "I am thrilled and deeply honoured to be awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of the University. To receive this tremendous honour is far beyond my expectations and an enormous pleasure for my family, colleagues and me. Bristol is a city that I dearly love and I shall cherish this Honorary Degree in recognition of my contributions to it. Thank you so very much".

Along with Peaches, other business leaders to be recognised in this ceremony include Professor Iain Gray, Director of Aerospace of Cranfield University, who was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Engineering in recognition of his contribution to the UK aerospace industry. Stephen Robertson, former Chairman of Business West, was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration in recognition of his contribution to Bristol business and academic business engagement and Luke Johnson, Chairman of Risk Capital Partners, was also awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Business Administration in recognition of his service to entrepreneurship.
