Moon Consulting & The West of England Initiative

Moon Consulting has joined the West of England Initiative to help positively influence, shape and develop the business community in the South West region.

What does the West of England Initiative mean to Moon Consulting?

We believe in creating a business community which promotes collaboration, prosperity and diversity across all socio-economic groups, and the West of England Initiative is a positive vehicle through which we can help realise this vision in the Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Creating a business community which can help address the skill gaps and nurture the next generation of leaders is important, and this can only be achieved when businesses come together and work as one to help influence local policies.

It is important for businesses to recognise the role they can play in positively influencing change not only in the business community but also in the wider community by working with government, LEP’s and the third sector to address some of the issues around diversity and social mobility.

Of joining The Initiative, Moon’s Head of Executive Search, Simon Quinn, commented “as a successful leading executive search firm in the south west, we saw the real value and power in us joining The West of England Initiative. Whilst Corporate Social Responsibility is in our DNA, and our team are proactively involved with many voluntary projects within their local communities, joining The Initiative collectively reaffirms Moon Consulting’s commitment to contributing to a better society”.

Amie Vaughan, Initiative Manager, Business West said “I am delighted to welcome Moon Consulting to the West of England Initiative. For many years, Moon have played an active role in the community through their involvement in CSR and local charities including The Dolphin Society and the Lord Mayor’s Children’s Appeal.

“Moreover, as one of the leading executive recruitment companies for senior management & board level roles in the region, they’re also long-time champions of inclusion and diversity, making them a perfect fit with the values of the Initiative.”
